Puzzle is an innovative system of demountable office partitioning walls, floor to ceiling and low 1600 mm, with great possibilities. It may be easily installed, de-mounted and re-installed in infinite alternative configurations thanks to its totally re-useable components, in the same or new location.
Puzzle introduces
a novel concept in the partitioning of modern workplaces: total
flexibility.
Modern design, quality construction and absolute modularity are
its main advantages.
Each Puzzle module may be individually installed and replaced
without affecting the modules before or next to it (non-sequential
construction).
Puzzle partition modules are double walled (or double glazed) with a 105 mm total wall thickness. An internal, invisible aluminum framework supports 19mm melamine panels in wood simulation, or veneered and lacquered MDF panels, or Triplex security glass panes. Sound insulation materials are contained within the double-walled partitions. A range of wood or glass doors, venetian blinds, internal cable ducts and other auxiliary equipment round up this well provided system.
Module wall panels may be easily removed whenever necessary and module internal space may be visited for fast installation or modification of cabling (power, data, communications) and other facilities.
During installation it is not necessary to fix modules directly to the ceiling when suspended ceilings have been installed - modules are simply attached to the false ceiling. Also, it is possible, if required, to build the Puzzle partitions up to a height which is lower to the height of the ceiling, allowing for free air flow above the partitioned areas (see photos). The sturdy internal framework structure of the Puzzle partitions allows for this possibility without any sacrifice of wall rigidity and stability.
No drilling of floors is necessary during installation, as modules are attached and bonded to the floor by special hot-melt adhesives that are easily removed when the partitions are demounted. Consequently floor surfaces remain totally intact and unaffected.
Both floor-to-ceiling modules as well as low partitions share exactly the same design and construction specifications, indeed most parts are interchangeable.
From an internal decorator's viewpoint an interesting advantage is that module panels may be material and colour co-ordinated with all Van de Lente office furniture, creating a superb aesthetic result.
